OLDE WORLD STYLE BELTS SantasWardrobe.com is pleased to now offer two great belts. The first are the "Olde World Style," custom made, hand tooled, Santa Belts. Created by Artist and Santa, Peter Kilmer, these beautiful dark mahogany stained Santa belts are each custom made, one of a kind. A painter and sculptor, Peter has now added leather craftsman to his resume.
Each belt is 4 inches wide and decorated with hand tooled holly leaves, acorns and berries on the front and side. The back of the belt features Santa, his sleigh and reindeer taking to the sky and the initials 'S' and 'C.' Each hand tooled belt is finished with a stitched in, full red suede leather lining and the attachment of a beautiful, hand made, solid brass buckle. The buckle is cut from 1/8 inch solid brass and is 3½ x 5 inches with a high polished finish. For a small fee, we can also gold plate the buckle if you wish. The buckle is removable, should you have another buckle you wish to use.
Santa Peter starts with high quality leather. Each belt is then hand cut to the measurements of the future owner. The designs are then drawn on to the leather and the hand tooling begins. Once finished the tooled areas are painted and dyed. The rest of the belt receives a special dark mahogany dye and the entire belt is finished and polished.
The custom suspenders also have some tooling, are dyed with a matching dark mahogany finish, and are trimmed with special silver hearts. The suspenders attach to special brass studs that are installed on the belt.
BLACK LATIGO LEATHER BELTS Santa Peter also makes high quality, basic black leather belts. These are made from vat dyed, latigo leather. He hand cuts them 4 inches wide out, punches the holes and adds a beautiful 5 x 6 ¼ inch gold plated buckle.
